Man accused of stabbing father indicted on attempted murder charges

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Valentin Bigornia Jr. has been indicted with attempted murder.
He is accused of stabbing his father in Pearl City last Sunday.
According to court documents, Bigornia’s father suffered gashes to his head and arms inside the 26-year-old’s apartment unit at Century Park Plaza.
Court documents also say his father was dropping off a phone when Bigornia attacked him with a guitar stand and then a knife.
Bigornia Sr. told officers his son suffers from Schizophrenia and was not taking his medication.
Bigornia Jr. is being held without bail.
